Spherical 64-channel microphone array at Deutsche Telekom Laboratories
The above picture shows a prototype of a spherical 64-channel microphone array for 3-D acoustic scene analysis we designed and built at Deutsche Telekom Labs Berlin. The rigid steel sphere of the massive multichannel array has a radius of 7.5cm and the layout is based on an equal area sampling scheme.
